The activity was carried out on the part of all countries. Students were free to experiment in any technique they found suitable. Motifs and tools were also left to students to experiment with. The activity was designed primarily to let our students show what they are capable of without guided workshops. The work created was then exhibited to the public.
Exhibition - Levice, Slovakia
The exhibition entitled Art Without Borders was held in the premises of Stredná umelecká škola Ladislava Bielika in Levice during the month of November 2016. It is the exhibition, which is closely linked to the implementation of the project Erasmus+ called Career in Art. The exhibited artworks are school students works on topic Art without borders, which was created with the support and help of their art teachers. At the exhibition been exposed 32 works by students of all areas of study in school.
Art without boarders on the part of Slovenian students
Students from the graphic department, grammar school students and photography students were involved in different creative workshops, in which they produced an enormous amount of artistic work. Mentors sellected the best among them and presented them at the annual Transgeneracije exhibition, which is held in the capital city's main congress and art centre Cankarjev dom. Also exhibited are works from other schools and the best work gets a special price.
Our students from the graphic department were socially engaged with a sellection of posters which warn young people to think before they act. Grammar school students proved to be excellent drawers of the human body, whereas photography students played around with different objects to create artistic portraits.
The exhibition was on in the month of April 2017 and it targeted not only students, but also a wider public, including important artists, journalists, ministers and others.
